About Mrs. N.
I have been teaching at Pinewood since 2005, and I absolutely feel like this is where I am supposed to be- I love it here! I have a Bachelor of Arts from Aquinas College with endorsements in Elementary Education, Language Arts, and Social Studies. Currently, I am a graduate student at Aquinas receiving my Master's in the Art of Teaching.
I graduated from East Kentwood High School in 2000 and previously attended Valleywood Middle and Glenwood Elementary, so I pretty much bleed red and black! In 2004, I married my high school sweetheart, and we had our beautiful son Evan on Valentine's Day in 2007. The newest, and smiley-est member of our family, Logan, arrived on September 9, 2011!
Some activities I enjoy outside of school are reading, traveling, and shopping. I also just love spending time with my friends and family hanging out, being silly, and playing the Wii. We attend Cornerstone Church as well, and Mr. Nickoles and I passionately volunteer in the High School Ministry there.
